Dr. Perminder Sanghera, MD, FACP, is board certified in internal medicine and a chief medical officer of Rovicare. Dr. Sanghera garnered extensive administrative experience serving as a co-owner, founder and president of Desert Valley Medical Associates, which is a group of twenty-five hospitals providing coverage to Tenant Health, Arrowhead Hospital and Arizona Heart Hospital since 2005.
He is also president, owner and Founder of Affiliated Internal Medicine Associate LLC, a primary care group providing outpatient services in the valley. He has extensive experience as a medical director of various facilities, such as the Medical Director of The Center at Arrowhead, a state-of the-art skilled nursing facility in the valley. He is also Medical Director of Inpatient Clinical Medicine Services for the Abrazo Health Network Internal Medicine residency program. Additionally, he is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.
His entrepreneurial experience includes ownership shares in The Center at Arrowhead among other multiple startup projects in the health industry.
Dr. Sanghera graduated from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, India. He completed general surgery residency from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, India before he moved to the United States. He then completed internal medicine residency from St. John Medical Center, Detroit. Michigan. He has been practicing internal medicine for the past twenty years in the valley.
