Kristin Cardona is a healthcare professional with over 10 years of experience in leadership roles. She began her career in Skilled Nursing as a Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director. She now serves as the Vice President of Customer Success for Rovicare; an innovative healthcare software company focused on improving patient care transitions and patient outcomes.
Kristin’s commitment to service is demonstrated through the active role she plays in her community. She is currently serving on the board of the United Way, serving as chair of the collective impact committee. She is also acting as Board Treasurer for the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic. She was a member of the 2019 Leadership Charlotte class, through the Chamber of Commerce.
Kristin graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and the University of Central Florida with a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration. Throughout her career she has focused on quality outcomes, leadership development and community outreach. Kristin also served as a preceptor for Florida Administrators in Training, helping to train and grow new leaders in that field. Kristin has served as an examiner for the AHCA Quality Awards Program, which provides a pathway for providers of long term and post-acute care services to journey towards performance excellence.
This focus on quality made her a natural fit for the role at Rovicare. Rovicare’s mission is centered around improving patient outcomes and patient experience. Kristin’s direct care experience coupled with her focus on service and quality has been evident in the customer experience that she and her team have built.
Kristin resides in Port Charlotte with her husband, two young children, and cat Jack. As Florida natives, they love to cheer for the Gators and enjoy Florida’s natural beauty.
